Recruitment Process

Demand Received

Once a demand is received we allocate a staff with a technical understanding of project for the facilitation of recruitment process. He will be responsible for all the communication with client and preliminary selection of candidates. All necessary documents such as Demand Letter, Power of Attorney, Employment agreement, Guarantee Letter, Inter-Agency Agreement will be requested at this stage. Requirement will then be published in leading local print Medias.

Short Listing

We accumulate good number of candidates for our client through our database, qualified sub-agents and advertisement in local media. Candidates are then tested by our technical team in our testing facilities. Only the candidates who pass testing procedures are invited for client interview.

Selection

Once the short listing is complete, we fix selection date after consulting with client. Selection will be made at our testing center here in Kathmandu. Only shortlisted candidates are allowed before interviewer to ensure high success rate. We request in advance if any special tools/ equipment are required for selection.

Documentation

After receiving formal selection confirmation from client we start our documentation process to obtain final approval from Nepal Government’s Department of Labour. DSS does all the documentation work in house. DSS maintain excellent relationship with all the concerned government bodies therefore is able to get all the required approval on time.

Dispatch

After receiving final approval from Labour department workers will be dispatched to project site. Candidates are given knowledge about the country where they are being mobilized. They are familiarized with local labour laws, camp rules & guidelines as well as overall Gulf work culture.
